Get to Know the People and Culture at JG Worldwide

What makes a workplace somewhere you actually look forward to showing up to? Is it the people you share random laughs with, the freedom to pitch your wildest ideas, or the feeling of accomplishing something you once thought was beyond your abilities?
At JG Worldwide (JGW), it's a little bit of everything.
As a creative agency in the Philippines, JGW brings together individuals with different backgrounds, talents, and personalities to create meaningful work for brands. But behind the campaigns and client partnerships is something just as important: a workplace culture built on collaboration, flexibility, and continuous growth.
And the best way to understand it is asking the people who know it best.
Where Work Feels Like Being Part of Something
There’s no denying that agency life can get busy and stressful. Between tight deadlines, client meetings, and creative brainstorming, there's rarely a dull moment. But at JGW, having the right people around makes all the difference.

For Senior Copywriter Zooz Paraso, “Working with the team feels like home. Warm, comfortable, and light.” Junior Creative Jannie Quimoyog shares that same sense of belonging, describing the workplace as somewhere people can laugh, joke around, and be themselves. In her words, "Sometimes it doesn't even feel like we're at work because we're always laughing, joking around, and being playful with one another."

That welcoming environment extends to the agency's leadership, too. Senior Copywriter Raeneil Inocencio shares how she was surprised by how approachable the founders are. "Even now, I still find it surprising that I get to talk, laugh, eat, and even sleep alongside the founders of the agency." For her, these everyday interactions make the workplace feel more personal and remind everyone that they're part of the same team, regardless of their position.
A Place to Discover What You're Capable Of
At JGW, growth often begins with trying something unfamiliar. Zooz compares the experience to a claw machine: you get to see the bigger picture and envision your goals, and you have the freedom to become who you want to be. But you have to put in the effort, and sometimes, you get surprises you never expected.

That rings true for Junior Copywriter Aliyah Ordillano, who has grown more confident representing her team in major client meetings, “Public speaking and presentations scared me before. But now at JGW, I’ve gained confidence in sharing my ideas with clients.”
Meanwhile, Junior Creative Max Jamoralin found an unexpected career direction after transitioning from a medical background into marketing and creative work. "I've learned that I don't have to limit myself to one career path. I can continue learning, reinventing myself, and finding new ways to contribute."
Creating a Culture That Supports Growth
A supportive workplace doesn't happen by accident. HR Officer Joyce Layug-Bau plays an important role in building the systems and processes that help employees feel supported as JGW grows.

From recruitment and onboarding to performance evaluations, employee policies, and people management, HR helps create an environment where employees understand their responsibilities, receive feedback, and have opportunities to develop.
Joyce also highlights the importance of practical benefits, including vacation and sick leaves beyond statutory minimums, a flexible hybrid setup, and transportation and food allowances for eligible work-related activities.
For her, "good benefits aren't just about what employees receive. They're also about creating a work environment where people feel supported and can sustain their performance over time."
Making Room for Young Minds
At JG Worldwide, the founders Jvnz Montero and Gian Rabago believe talent, creativity, and eagerness matter more than age or years of experience. Challenging the status quo means giving young creatives the chance to share ideas, contribute, and prove what they can do.

As Montero puts it, “We don't treat even interns as interns; they're part of the JG Squad.” Everyone's voice matters, and when people grow, the company grows with them.
That spirit of collaboration comes to life at our BGC office. It's where founders, copywriters, graphic artists, web developers, interns, and the rest of the JG Squad come together to exchange ideas, plan campaigns, brainstorm, and bring projects to life.
If JG Worldwide Were a Person...
Based on the collective consensus, it'd be that young, creative, ambitious, fun-loving friend who's always full of ideas, a little unpredictable, and never afraid to try something new—but knows when it's time to get serious and get things done.

And maybe that's what makes JGW what it is: a place where different people, ideas, and perspectives come together, with plenty of room to grow.
Think you'd fit right in? JG Worldwide is always excited to meet curious minds, fresh perspectives, and people eager to see what they can bring to the table. Come chat with us!
