HOW DO YOU TURN A PRODUCT LAUNCH INTO A 360 BRAND EXPERIENCE?

By: Raeneil Inocencio

When we began working on the Taste of Beauty campaign for S&J Beauty, we knew this wasn’t just about launching four blends. We are building a full 360 experience, one that would live on screens , on stage, and in the hands of every guest who walked into the event.

At JG Worldwide, a marketing agency in the Philippines specializing in modern marketing solutions, our mandate was to design and execute a campaign that was cohesive, high-impact, and strategically aligned from start to finish.

This is how we did it.

IT ALL STARTED WITH STRATEGY

Every strong campaign starts with structure.

For Taste of Beauty, we anchored the campaign on two key pillars under our Marketing 360 approach:

• Content Management
• Offline Activation

Rather than treating content and events as separate initiatives, we built a unified strategy where production would fuel activation, and activation would amplify production.

We began with audience mapping, identifying core glowmates — women, young professionals, beauty enthusiasts, and resellers — while also expanding reach to a broader lifestyle demographic. From there, we defined the creative direction: bold, sensory-driven visuals that translate flavor into emotion and experience.

This strategic foundation ensured that every creative and operational decision aligned with measurable brand objectives: awareness, engagement, and positioning.

HOW DO YOU TRANSLATE FLAVOR INTO VISUAL IDENTITY?

The answer: through large-scale  production.

The campaign commenced with a major production shoot designed to generate premium, multi-platform visual assets. This was not a standard product shoot,  it was a brand-building exercise.

We collaborated with leading industry professionals, including renowned photographers BJ Pascual and Kim Santos, supported by experienced set designers and HMUAs known for high-profile commercial and creative productions. With Anthony Constantino and Max Collins leading the campaign, the shoot was structured to capture not just aesthetics, but narrative.

Our production process included:

• Creative direction alignment and mood development
• Set conceptualization aligned  to each blend’s personality
• Styling and visual consistency planning
• Shot mapping for cross-platform distribution
• Asset planning for digital, event, and post-launch amplification

Each visual was crafted with dual purpose: to stand alone as premium content and to serve as foundational material for the upcoming launch event.

The result was a strong content library that strengthened brand equity and ensured campaign longevity beyond a single activation.

WHY OFFLINE ACTIVATION MATTERS: THE LAUNCH EVENT

Once the visual assets were established, the next phase was execution in a live environment.

The Taste of Beauty launch event was designed as an extension of the campaign’s visual identity. The goal was not merely to host an event, but to create an immersive brand experience  where consumers could experience the blends..

Key elements of execution included:

• Distributing tall glasses of blends for the tasting experience
• Interactive activities to increase engagement and dwell time
• Influencer and celebrity appearances to drive aspirational value
• On-ground content capture

CEO Jhazz Bonifacio, alongside Anthony Constantino, Max Collins, and additional influencers, played a significant  role in energizing the event  and reinforcing authenticity.

Because the content strategy was developed prior to activation, the event was designed to be inherently “content-ready.” Every corner, interaction, and performance was built to be documented, shared, and extended across platforms.

This ensured that the impact of the event did not conclude when the program ended — it expanded.

WHAT MADE THE CAMPAIGN EFFECTIVE?

The strength of Taste of Beauty lay in its integration. Production and activation were not independent efforts; they were sequential phases of one strategic blueprint.
