Behind the Curtain: How JG Worldwide Built the Success of BTN Pop Season 3

Last February 27, the Bataan People's Center experienced the roar of the crowd signaling the highly anticipated peak of BTN Pop Season 3. For the audience and the artists, the night was a seamless spectacle of pulsing lights, flawless performances, and unforgettable music. But for JG Worldwide, even before the concert started, the hustle already began. That moment was the culmination of months of sleepless nights, relentless revisions, and a staggering amount of behind-the-scenes heavy lifting.
This year, JG Worldwide didn’t just collaborate with BTN Pop. The team became one of the architects of its entire experience, together with Bataan Tourism and BTN Pop Association. From the initial sparks of branding and layout design to the high-stakes execution of production design, event management, live direction, and content editing, JG Worldwide creatives and interns took full ownership of the season’s narrative. This is the story of how they turned a vision into a reality for Bataan’s upcoming artists.

Crafting the Brand Identity
Long before the artists took the stage, the identity of Season 3 had to be built from the ground up. JG Worldwide helped in honing the branding of each artist on what they become today. “This branding workshop actually helped the artists align their image to the path that they are today.” Zooz Paraso, one of the branding workshop facilitators, highlighted. “I’m also delighted to witness how they really embraced and owned their own branding from editorial shoots, music videos, music production, and on live performances. They’re now living up to it.”
With everything firmly anchored in their distinct personas, the team needed to build an immersive and experiential world that reflected both their individual vibes and the season's overarching energy. This meant translating these musical identities into a bold and cohesive visual language.
Building the Visual Soul
Apollo Pangilinan, handling the overall art direction for the production team, was tasked with giving the season its visual pulse. He designed the official logo, masterminded the LED screen visuals, and mapped out the creative direction.

"The experience was surreal because what started as drafts and ideas eventually became something real and alive on stage," Apollo reflected. "Seeing the logo I designed flash across a massive LED wall, synced with the performers' energy, felt incredibly rewarding."
But building that identity wasn't a solo endeavor. JG Worldwide’s culture of mentorship shone through as interns stepped up to take on bigger responsibilities. Marc Magpoc, an intern who was involved from pre-production to the event day, was tasked with designing the towering LED screen posters outside the venue, setting the tone for concertgoers before they even walked through the doors.

"Pre-production involved brainstorming and preparing materials like teasers and posters," he explained. "It required patience and teamwork to make sure everything was ready before the big day."
Orchestrating the Chaos
While the visual team was busy giving the event its look, Jen Enriquez was navigating the monumental task of giving it its structure. She served as the Executive Producer during the promotional shoot and the Director of the BTN Pop Fest Season 3. Jen was the anchor holding the massive production together.

"It was very challenging because my role played a critical part in the entire process. I had to make sure everyone was aligned and that everything was in place," she shared. Her role required a delicate balancing act—managing communication between the internal team and the artists, bridging generational gaps, and asserting professional leadership.
The pressure was immense. As a director, she had to quickly master the live technical aspects just hours before the show went on air, all while balancing her regular workload and traveling between Bataan and Manila. Yet, the grueling process was fueled by something deeper.

"There's a deep sense of satisfaction in knowing that we did this out of pure love for Bataan and genuine passion for our craft. Every sacrifice, long night, and difficult moment became worth it because we were driven by purpose, not just responsibility."
The Hype Engine: Amplifying the Voice
An event of this scale requires a digital footprint that matches its physical energy. This is where JG Worldwide’s social media and content teams came into play, building the hype leading up to the concert day.

Mark Justie Lagnason pulled the strings of the digital rollout, ensuring that pubmats, announcements, and updates hit Facebook and Instagram with perfect timing and brand alignment. "One of my most memorable moments was seeing the engagement grow on our posts and watching everything come together during the actual event," Mark noted. "It was fulfilling to see the crowd's energy and know that our promotions helped bring that audience in."
Meanwhile, Mary Christine was the eyes and ears on the ground, managing real-time Instagram updates, capturing behind-the-scenes magic, and handling camera work for artist interviews. She also contributed to the LED wall design for the National Arts Month Awards and assisted with outdoor billboard executions. For her, the magic was in the collective effort. "Seeing how every team and station works together to bring an event like BTN Pop to life was inspiring. You could genuinely feel the passion."

The Pulse of the Live Show
When the show finally started, the preparation gave way to pure adrenaline. In the control booth, Apollo was the one directing the LED and audio operations in real time. "I had to make sure the visuals matched the intensity of each performance while executing everything smoothly... Every cue mattered," he said. In the midst of the high-stakes environment, he found a grounding force in Lolita, an intern from Baguio. "It's funny because in the middle of the pressure and chaos, she would calmly remind me of the next cue—'Bumper, Sir?' Those small moments kept everything on track."

Backstage, Marc was capturing the raw, unfiltered emotions of the night through short-form video documentation and interviews. "Hearing their stories and seeing how much the event meant to them made everything more meaningful," Marc recalled. "It was cute and inspiring to witness that combination of kaba and excitement up close. It reminded me that beyond the performances, there are real people with real stories behind the stage."
Setting the Industry Benchmark
As the final notes faded and the Bataan People's Center emptied out, the JG Worldwide team was left with a profound sense of accomplishment. They hadn't just thrown a concert; they had elevated the local creative industry.

Apollo looked around the venue and realized he was witnessing a rare convergence. "One of my most memorable moments was seeing all my worlds collide in one space. I got to work alongside my college friends, acquaintances in Bataan's creative community, and my JG family—all in one production."
For the interns and creatives who poured their hearts into the project, BTN Pop Season 3 was a masterclass in event production. "It made me realize that we're not just creating outputs for the sake of production," Mary Christine summarized. "We're building experiences, setting standards, and crafting events that people will remember and genuinely want to attend."
As social media flooded with photos and videos in the days following the event, Jen looked back at the whirlwind journey with immense gratitude. "I still can't fully put my feelings into words—there's gratitude, relief, pride, and so much joy all at once... And while Season 3 has officially come to a close, I know this is just the beginning. I'm more than ready to take everything we've learned and make Season 4 even stronger."
Through visionary branding, fearless event direction, and a tireless commitment to storytelling, JG Worldwide proved that the true heartbeat of BTN Pop isn't just the artists on stage, but the passionate, unseen creatives working tirelessly behind the curtain.

The staggering success of the BTN Pop Fest 2026 wasn't just a win for the performers; it was a testament to what happens when local talent is backed by an elite creative infrastructure. In the end, it was a labor of love. JG Worldwide proved they are more than an agency—they are architects of culture, setting an uncompromising new benchmark for the province.
