There is a common assumption that playdates are strictly reserved for the weekend, while school days have to be entirely about chores and homework. But when the final school bell rings, parents face a familiar daily challenge: balancing their kids' remaining energy with their own need to unwind.
We wanted to introduce a new perspective: school days can still have room for fun. Recognizing this daily transition, JG Worldwide launched a targeted June–July 2026 back-to-school marketing campaign designed to show that an afternoon playdate can actually be the perfect post-class reward for families, classmates, and friends.
The Blueprint: Ideation and Strategic Pillars
Before capturing content, we focused entirely on strategy, grounding our back-to-school marketing campaign in real community experiences. We focused on three distinct groups within the indoor playground and café space: showing kids how purposeful play extends classroom learning, giving parents a spot to relax, and providing a go-to space for students and teachers to study or unwind after class.
We designed this strategy around the rising demand for a premier indoor playground café in the region. By promoting the brand as the ideal family café in San Fernando, we successfully bridged the gap between school hours and afternoon fun, giving families a reliable neighborhood playground café to rely on.
The Production Shoot: Capturing Genuine Play
With these core audience pillars locked in, we moved straight into production. Instead of hiring professional actors, we invited actual local parents and their kids to come in and simply enjoy the space.

By letting the kids naturally explore the indoor playground while the parents caught up over coffee, our creative team captured completely unscripted moments of joy, curiosity, and relaxation. This genuine play and café experience became the visual foundation for the entire seasonal marketing campaign, proving that effective marketing comes from real human connection.
Bringing the Social Media Campaign to Life
With our production assets ready and our strategy set, we took over Playbean's digital channels with a completely refreshed, school-themed social media campaign. We rolled out our plan using a mix of engaging, narrative-driven formats.
First, we focused on raw short-form videos that mirrored daily life, like a "POV: Rewarding them (and yourself) for a good day at school" video, instantly grabbing the attention of busy parents scrolling through their feeds.

Alongside these videos, vibrant static posts and carousels also highlighted private playdate offerings, purposeful play, and the afternoon experience. This coordinated social media campaign steadily built the digital awareness needed to turn online curiosity into actual bookings, positioning the business as the top-of-mind choice for anyone searching for a dynamic Play & Café or a modern kids’ café in Pampanga.


The Big Picture: Driving Weekday Foot Traffic Growth
Effective seasonal marketing campaigns go beyond surface-level changes and temporary promotions; it’s about understanding how your audience's daily lives change throughout the year, especially during the hectic back to school season.
