The Brief
Mogathione was created to bridge the gap between relaxation, sleep improvement, and beauty. The brand wanted to level up and find a way to quickly gain traction, but was struggling to stand out and reach its audience effectively due to outdated packaging, unclear communication, and lack of ad campaigns.
JG Worldwide came in to explore the brand's core and implement a new strategy to deliver real results. Being different from other ‘thione’ products, the team saw its potential to breakthrough from the usual whitening supplement. The brand just needed the right communication and approach.

The Storytime: Before JGW
Before its rebrand, Mogathione was competing in a saturated market. The brand struggled to differentiate itself and convert interest into sales, especially without its own channel.
Consumer perception was functional and emotional, so the brand’s missing piece was connection.
Moreover, the brand lacked a strong, consistent presence and effective communication strategy on online platforms.
Plus, key channels were underutilized, representing a huge missed opportunity in the B2B and e-commerce markets.

We maximized the brand’s opportunity in e-commerce by building a diverse sales network. This involved strengthening partnerships with Watsons for an online retail presence, while also optimizing other major e-commerce platforms like Shopee, TikTok, and Lazada.
One key innovation that we also implemented was the launch of a new, dedicated website sales channel. This new direct-to-consumer platform allowed the brand to own the customer relationship, control its messaging, and capture sales directly. This helped the brand test ad conversions and directly track leads for retargeting. This multi-channel strategy (Watsons, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Mogathione Website) directly solved the availability problem and created multiple, new revenue streams.

The Mogathione Event at Fable Cafe + Lounge was designed to promote self-care and relaxation and create a single, massive content-generation opportunity to kickstart the brand's new digital presence.
This offline presence became an avenue for the brand’s social media. Based on the analytics and performance report, one collaboration post from a creator became one of the top-performing posts of the entire campaign, driving more than 1,710 interactions from unique users. Moreover, this also boosted the brand’s reach due to other creators’ generated views and engagements, totaling almost 50,000 and 300 respectively.
